I've stayed in almost all the hotels around Kings Cross/Bloomsbury (Argyle Square, Cartwright Gardens etc) so can say that the Arosfa is just that bit nicer than most. It's slightly more expensive than the ones we normally choose, and it was definitely better: the room was not at all cramped, very swish bathroom, good breakfast. And the room had a really good fan - the hotels of this type in this area are often very hot in the summer and I was really impressed that the Arosfa has dealt with this problem. It was very late and rather wet when we stayed so we didn't get a chance to sit in the garden (which was a huge surprise - it was very unexpected to have outside space in this type of hotel in this area). We were at the back so had no traffic noise at all. (The hotel name is Welsh btw - it means 'a place to stay').

This lovely hotel was exactly what I expected. Yes the room was very small, but it's London. However it was still perfect in its petiteness. The bed was good if a bit small. The bathroom excellent, the tea (and cookies/biscuits) replaced daily, the towels fluffy, the internet fast. They also had sockets at the desk for a variety of international plugs. The breakfast was very good, lots of variety and the lovely ladies would cook your eggs however you wanted them. The location was PERFECT. We were traveling by train, first arriving at Euston Station and leaving a few days later from St. Pancreas, both a short walk away. Plus we were visiting the British Museum on the same street as the hotel!

The twin room was exactly as described. It was very clean, with very crisp sheets and comfortable beds, though small singles. The loo was clean and modern with good toiletries supplied. The room is small, but typical of this style of property and the area in central London. We chose the hotel for the specific location close to UCL Hospital. The area feels safe. The staff member on check-in was helpful. We had to leave very early the next morning so we cannot comment on breakfast.

Rhonda

Friendly and informative staff made us feel welcome. Very convenient for where we wanted to be. Much closer to West end than expected. Good facilities, small and compact, consumables you would expect in the bathroom. Breakfast was good with lots of choice - cooked breakfast was excellent. Information for local and London wide attractions. Would recommend to friends and family and we would definitely come back.

Celia

Very onvenient location. Even though the room faced the main road it was quiet and a bonus that there was a cafe in the bookshop opposite. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice for vegetarians, not just a minimal "continental" but a full buffet and the option of a cooked breakfast as well if wanted. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower was excellent and the ensuite was nicely laid out even though small.
